Title: Candidate for Governor Adam Andrzejewski (And-gee-eff-skee) makes statement on Chicago’s failed Olympic bid
 
“The news of Chicago’s unsuccessful bid to host the 2016 Olympics is one of mixed feelings for many citizens of Illinois,” Republican candidate for Governor Adam Andrzejewski said.  “Although many are disappointed, there are a significant number of Illinois taxpayers who are breathing a sigh of relief, because of the prospect of bearing the brunt of the cost of the Olympic Games.”

It is difficult to ascertain whether the reputation of Chicago and Illinois played a role in the IOC’s decision, however, we must move forward and put Illinois back together with policies of reform, rebuilding our economy, education and health care.  The issues we face today in this state are very real, and it is time to get back to the business of fixing this state for a better Illinois.”
